Libraries
The Grinder uses six separate material databases to organize materials.
They are as follows:
- Steel
- Stainless Steel
- Aluminum
- Fasteners
- Hardware
- Assembled Units
Material Management
All items entered from your materials list can be tracked using the following data fields.
The Grinder also allows you to define "defaults" for most data fields.
- Material Library
- ASTM Designation
- Material Finish
- Quantity
- Material Shape
- Material Size
- Length
- Remarks
- Category
- Division
- Shop Hours

Material Reports
The Grinder produces 12 neat, precise, and easy-to-read reports. Information presented in
each of the 12 reports is specific. This means that the engineering team, the shop, and
purchasing department each get reports that contain only the information relevant to them.
The Grinder will generate the following 12 reports:
- Project Materials List
- Line & Sheet Weight Report
- Net Materials Cut List
- Net Material Summary
- Plate Cut List
- Shop Cutting List
- Fasteners List
- Hardware List
- Assembled Units List
- Miscellaneous List
- Pricing List
- Efficiency Report
